Share information with our audience that will help them go further, faster on YouTube - your role is a vital part of our goal to help 1,000,000 people go full-time with YouTube. You’ll function as a member of the social media team and a supporting role in bringing awareness to Think Media brands and products, thereby increasing company revenue.

Details of the Role

  • Social Media Assistant
  • 20-25 hours per week
  • This position offers massive flexibility. As long as deliverables are completed by the assigned deadline, you can work at your convenience.
  • Remote position
  • All positions are open to United States residents only.

Competencies

Primary Duties

  • Content Scheduling: Use Metricool (social media scheduling program) to schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. Schedule out shorts and comm tab posts directly on YouTube Channels.
  • Content Image Creation: Create visually appealing graphics using Canva for social graphics as needed. A creative eye and basic graphic design skills are essential.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to direct messages and comments on posts to foster a strong community and maintain engagement.

 

Basic Tasks & Expectations

  • Work with our social media manager to understand the current needs of our social media platforms
  • Schedule out social media posts on all our platforms at least one week ahead of time. There will be at least 3 posts on all platforms daily in the following categories: tips & tricks, marketing posts, sharing our YouTube videos
  • Write copy, create graphics, and overall assist in the curation of content to go on each social platform
  • Foster welcoming and responsive conversations in our comments and direct messages that represents our values and brand voice well

Qualifications

  • Proficiency and creative eye with simple graphic design skills.
  • Previous experience in social media management is expected.
  • Experience in content creation is preferred.
  • Efficient, organized, and a self-starter capable of completing tasks independently.
